Basin Tackle Co. is located at the boat basin in Charleston, OR at the
heart of some of the best fishing, crabbing and clamming on the Oregon

Basin Tackle Tuna
Dan, the owner of Basin Tackle
Co. is a life-long fisherman and commercially fished up and down the
coast for many years. He now fishes tuna and produces the best
tuna you can buy. They are BLAST FROZEN to -40 F within minutes of
being caught. They stay that way until you get them and believe
me, you can't get closer to fresh than this!!
We also have our tuna canned
locally if you don't want to do it yourself. |

How can keep from hanging up on the bottom while jigging? |

There is no way to keep from getting caught up, but there are ways to minimize it. Only put your jig/weight on the bottom when you have to (I only touch it once every 10/15 seconds). I also use tandem/assist hooks that mount on the top of your jig, not the bottom.
